i recently had my ps2 scph3000 chipped using the messiah chip press reset twice and everything should run however i am finding it very poor it wont run most ames back up or original and most dvds struggle i have some electronic experience and have heard that a faulty or weak laser could be the problem any one got info and or experiance of this type of fault

IT PROBLY TO OLD GET A NEW SYSTEM OR TRY TO CLEAN THE LENSE

u can also get a new laser (refurbished) it cost around 50 bucks
